Thank You, Father, 

Your heart is all goodness. I know You will bring good out of all that’s troubling me. You will never fail to help Your child. 

Thank You, Father, 

for noticing everything. The very hairs on my head are counted.  

Nothing is too trivial. And nothing can happen to me that will not serve my ultimate good. 

Thank You, Father, 

for being a true father. You can’t see Your child unhappy without wanting to bring comfort and help. 

Thank You, Father, 

for never forgetting me, Your child. 

Thank You, Father, 

Even if You have to discipline Your child, You will never let me be tested beyond my strength. 

Thank You Father. 

You know what is good and healing for me; so however You lead, it will always be for the best. 

Thank You, Father. 

The greater my needs, the more You delight in blessing me with Your joy and good gifts. 

Thank You, Father, 

for making Your dwelling in hearts broken by hardship and sorrow. Nowhere is Your healing presence so evident as in the place of pain and suffering. 

Thank You, Father. 

In all my troubles I am surrounded by Your goodness. I am not at the mercy of my problems, for Your love reigns over me. 

Thank You, Father. 

You are all-powerful. Whatever my troubles, You always know how to help. My Father, You are greater than everything. No difficulty is too hard for You to resolve. 

Loving Father, 

In these catastrophic weather conditions we come to You. We humble ourselves before You and accept Your judgment, for we are receiving what our actions deserve. We and our nation have brought this judgment upon ourselves, by our sins, which are mounting up to heaven, and by offending Your divine holiness with blasphemies such as the world has never seen. 

Our Father, 

for the sake of Jesus’ outpoured blood, grant by Your Holy Spirit that we and many in our nation will wake up under this judgment. 

For the sake of Jesus’ outpoured blood, have mercy upon us in this severe plight and hear our prayer for help. 

We thank You 

for the assurance that it is Your loving, fatherly hand which is chastening us for our good as individuals and as a nation. 

We pray 

that as a result of this judgment many who had been following paths of sin will accept Jesus’ offer of salvation and begin a new life. 

We pray 

that You will renew in us the spirit of repentance, so that You can turn Your judgment into grace again and end the plight. 

We pray 

help us to recognize this chastening as a preliminary judgment and help us to take it as an opportunity to practice for the coming times of testing by humbling ourselves deeply beneath Your chastening hand and submitting our wills wholly to Yours. Make us so one with You that we will be strong and not lose confidence in Your love when You are compelled to send even greater calamities in response to the sins of mankind. 

Our Father, 

For the sake of Jesus’ outpoured blood, have mercy upon us in this severe plight and hear our prayer for help.

Lord Jesus Christ, 

I come before You because You call me: ‘Come unto Me …’. I confess that I have sinned against You and against others. I bring You my sins… (specify) and ask You for  forgiveness. 

I repent of my sinful attitudes, my sinful words, thoughts and actions against You and against others and I renounce the devil and his temptations. 

Your arch-enemy, Lord Jesus, is my arch-enemy too. You died on the cross for me out of love. I believe in Your redeeming blood, which has ransomed me from my sins and from Satan’s power. Your blood covers me and protects me from the demonic attacks.  

I now surrender my life to You, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and from this day on, I will live to bring You joy and for Your glory. 

I know that You are YES and AMEN and that You will make me victorious.

Lord Jesus Christ, 

I belong to You and I love You; 

I will obey and follow You. 

I commit myself anew to the way of Your cross 

and the way of lowliness. 

My God and my Father, I belong to You 

and I trust You in the midst of temptation, 

for You are greater than all the might 

of Satan and the demons. 

They have to obey You. 

My Father, You are almighty 

and when I call upon Your name, 

You can and will help me, 

For You love me as Your child. 

My Lord and my God, 

I will keep faith at all costs. 

No temptation or deception of Satan 

shall ever separate me from You 

by causing me to disobey You, 

for if I lose You, I have lost everything. 

I consecrate myself anew 

to obey You and Your commandments, 

and to follow You, Lord, to the end of my life 

along Your pathway, the way of the cross. 

I long to be and remain Yours, Lord Jesus, 

and not fall prey to Satan. 

I long to attain the crown of life one day 

and not be sent to the kingdom of darkness 

after this life. 

You have redeemed me and set me free! 

Of this I am sure!

Lord Jesus Christ, 

I confess that I am enslaved by my sinful bondages. 

In Your presence, Lord Jesus,  

I now condemn and renounce my sins of 

pride and arrogance, 

envy and jealousy, 

mistrust, touchiness, bitterness, self-righteousness, lying, 

all greed, all impurity and evil desires, 

all bad thoughts and rebellion, 

all judging and criticizing 

and all thoughts of blasphemy … 

In Your name, Jesus, and in the power of Your blood 

that was shed for me, 

I break with these sins. 

Lord Jesus Christ, 

by putting my faith in You, the Victor 

and triumphant Lamb of God, 

I am redeemed. 

You are the Deliverer  

who has broken the power of my sin. 

Lord Jesus Christ, 

Your precious blood that was shed for me at Calvary 

is now a wall between me and all the forces of the defeated enemy. 

I am redeemed through Your blood to do Your will. 

I belong to You alone. 

Jesus, You are Victor.

Lord, our God, 

in this hour of fear and danger, we call upon You, who alone are our refuge and help. 

We and our people have disregarded Your commandments and sought above all our own prosperity. We were not alert when crime, occultism, and blasphemy increased, and we did little to counteract them. We have allowed violence and cruelty to prevail in the mass media. 

Now war threatens to plunge the world into chaos and terror. Lord, forgive us our sins and hear us in Your great mercy for the sake of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, our God, You have allowed all this to happen. We pray that we and Christians everywhere may be so shaken up by what we are now experiencing, that we will arouse from our apathy and false security.  

Holy Spirit, arouse us and convict us of our sins, especially our rebellion, bitterness and hatred, and every sin that promotes war. 

Help us to truly repent, so that our prayers may rise from the depths of a humble heart and have authority. 

Lord Jesus Christ, our almighty Victor, thwart all plans of war, as you have promised, “Make a plan, but it will not come to pass!” (see Isaiah 8:10). 

Lord, have mercy, 

for you alone are our helper, 

to whom all power is given 

in heaven and on earth. 

We implore You to prevent the use of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons. Protect everyone who is threatened by them with your precious blood. 

 Lord, have mercy, 

for you alone are our helper, 

to whom all power is given 

in heaven and on earth. 

We implore You to thwart the plans of those who desire war. Let them become divided among themselves. Prevent planned bomb and missile attacks. 

Lord, have mercy, 

for you alone are our helper, 

to whom all power is given 

in heaven and on earth. 

We ask you to protect all those involved in peace negotiations. Guide their decisions through your Holy Spirit and let their efforts lead to the desired outcome. 

Lord, have mercy, 

for you alone are our helper, 

to whom all power is given 

in heaven and on earth. 

We ask you to help governments and all those entrusted with upholding the law to stand firm on the foundation of peace and justice despite provocations and threats. 

Lord, have mercy, 

for you alone are our helper, 

to whom all power is given 

in heaven and on earth. 

Grant that Christians everywhere will begin to pray so that you will continue to be merciful to us. 

Heavenly Father, we thank you that we are in Your hands and in no one else’s.  

Lord, have mercy,
