You know what it is to pray. But that is not enough. You need to pray in faith, firmly trusting in God’s help. Put your faith into action. Do not just bring petitions.
 
Pray like this: ‘Thank You, Father, that You have already planned help for me. Thank You that You have a solution to my problem. Thank You that Jesus’ victory over my sin has already been won.’ There is a promise attached to such prayer. It moves the arm of God so that the difficulty must yield before His almighty power. Make use of this provision. Through thanksgiving you will become strong and full of joy. When your pleas to the heavenly Father are embedded in thanksgiving and faith, they will be heard. (see Matthew 21:22 & Philippians 4:6)

Christ is risen and in our midst – He who is Joy everlasting. Hallelujah!
Victorious over the power of sin and death, He now has the authority to rescue us from darkness, rebellion, seemingly hopeless situations and distress. Chains of sin break when we call upon His name, the name of Jesus, and proclaim,
Jesus is Victor!
 
JESUS, risen Prince of Victory,
to You all power in heaven and on earth has been given.
I praise and worship You!
Your power to help is greater than any and every need.
Hallelujah!

Easter Day – Christ Is Risen!

What is the outcome of Jesus’ death? An empty grave – victory, resurrection and Easter joy. With God, suffering is never the final outcome! Easter is the assurance that suffering will not have the last word in our lives either. Jesus Christ is alive and victorious! All power is His in heaven and on earth. Jesus has overcome Satan and sin.
We honour Jesus with our response of faith, so join in the triumphant song of praise for His mighty victory at Easter:
 
Jesus Christ is risen today, Alleluia!
Our triumphant holy day, Alleluia!
Who did once upon the cross, Alleluia!
Suffer to redeem our loss. Alleluia!
