You are faced with failure. You have struggled unsuccessfully. God in His love always has a way to help you, and that help can also work retrospectively. So sing of victory, especially now in the face of defeat, when you cannot see any evidence of victory. And your defeat will be transformed into victory, for faith can achieve great things, even redeeming the past. Failure can be transformed into victory, because the Father’s love is so great.

You say, ‘What I hoped for and tried to achieve has not worked out. The die is cast.’ But even if it seems too late, it is not. You can still change the course of things. Call to God in your distress. In His love He will advise you and show you how your failure can be turned into victory: by calling upon the victorious name of Jesus. Proclaiming His name over your failure will have a retrospective effect. In the victory of Jesus lies the dynamic for change.
