Paths of preparation and chastening are often the answer to our prayer to become more like Jesus and to receive from Him one day the unfading crown of glory. Now the Lord is leading you towards the desired goal. You would not reach it by following an easier route, otherwise God would have chosen that path. Lovingly accept God’s leading, for ultimately it is the fulfilment of your prayer and will bring you the glory of heaven.
