God loves us as a Father. He takes care that difficult times are always followed by times of spiritual refreshment. In His love He has already prepared a table for His children in the presence of their enemies (Psalm 23:5) and in the face of their troubles. After times of weeping, His children are to rejoice and be glad. So in times of suffering let us look forward to the joyful times which will most definitely follow. Then the oppressive power of sadness will be overcome.
