A cross stands high for all to see, and upon it hangs the Son of God. God gave up His dearest and best to such an agonizing death for our sakes. The cross tells us how much God the Father loves us. It is the guarantee that all His paths of chastening are inspired by love as He seeks to prepare us for heavenly glory. So look at the cross, and you will have a glimpse of God the Father’s heart. His love will overwhelm you, and any doubts about His love will disappear.
