It hurts God the Father when we shut Him out of our lives. Sadly, although we call ourselves His children, we often do so. We want to get everything done by our own strength, resources and natural abilities. We think we have to take care of ourselves. But in so doing, we lose the most important thing of all — that vital relationship with our heavenly Father and His heart. Consequently, we miss out on those daily proofs of His love and the help which, in many situations of need, He alone can provide.

It hurts God the Father when we shut Him out of our lives. Sadly, although we call ourselves His children, we often do so.
