God is sometimes obliged to judge and discipline us. Who can understand Him at such times? — Only those who have a childlike relationship with God. They recognize the love prompting Him. Children who know what their father’s heart is like can see his fatherly love even when he has to be firm and deal with them in ways not to their liking. Our attitude towards the will of God shows clearly how we stand. Those who do not know the Father will react defiantly when they find it hard to accept His incomprehensible will. Do we have a father-child relationship with Him or not?

God is sometimes obliged to judge and discipline us. Who can understand Him at such times? — Only those who have a childlike relationship with God. They recognize the love prompting Him.
