Let us be glad that we are being guided in this life. The hand of the Father is directing us according to a wise, eternal plan. Day by day His wisdom is leading us on. Do not oppose His guidance, otherwise you will destroy a most glorious plan for your life. Accept His will, even when it is hard for you to make any sense of it. Then your path will end in joy and bliss for eternity.

God, your Father in heaven, might lead you along difficult paths you do not like. The time has come for you to learn a lesson: Want only what He wants. Whoever has learnt this lesson, whoever can wholeheartedly accept the will of God in every situation, has learnt something which will fill his life with peace and joy. Even during the most difficult leadings he will be happy and at peace, for he is resting in the will that is always best. Start practising with the smaller issues in life and pray, “Your will be done.” (Matthew 6:10) Then you will be able to rest in God’s will in times of hardship and be victorious.
