As our Father, God has the desire and the right to delight in His children. He longs to find in them traces of His divine nature and rejoices when this is so. By submitting willingly to His discipline, believing in the redemption of Jesus, we will bring Him this joy, because we are being transformed into the image of His Son. Let us not keep the Father waiting so long to see His reflection in us. Rather, let us make every effort to present Him with Christlikeness — to His joy. Let us strive for holiness.
