Your difficulties seem to be so great that you think you cannot cope. They are depressing you. But then there must be something wrong, for God never gives us more than we can bear. You are not seeing things in perspective. Compared with the greatness of God, your predicament is very small — like a grain of sand compared with a huge mountain. No matter how great your problems, doubts and cares, they can never be greater than God in His power and love. Focus on that infinitely greater power and love. Reckon with God — your difficulties will shrink to their proper size, and you will be helped.
