When we are discouraged and there is no help in sight, let us say aloud, ‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.’ (Psalm 46:1) God is able to help, because He is the Almighty. God wants to help, because He is love. Love always has to help, so help is guaranteed. The only time we will not experience help is when we condemn ourselves to remaining in misery by declaring: “There will be no help”.
