Does the thought of war and catastrophe make you feel anxious? Your loving Father in heaven assures you, His small and fearful child, ‘No evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent.’ Yet you wonder how that could be if you were surrounded by utter devastation. The answer is that God would protect you through the mighty, strong angels He has ready for you. But then you ask, ‘What if I die?’ If this were to happen, angels would carry you home. The presence of Jesus and His love would enfold you so that no evil could overtake you. This, and nothing less, is what you would experience. Psalm 91:10
