The heart of God our Father is brimming over with love. The Bible says that He wants to do far more for us than we ever dare ask or imagine. Indeed, we will be amazed at all the good He will do for us. He wants joy to well up in our hearts. This is why Jesus says, “These things I have spoken to you … that your joy may be full.”
Do we believe that God wants to give us overflowing joy? Only then will we receive this joy, which will fill us with amazement – yes, awe and wonder – because of all the good things the Father in heaven does for us. Ask in the name of Jesus for this gift of joy which God has prepared for you. God is waiting for you to ask, so that He can fulfil your request.
