Perhaps you are grumbling in your heart that God does not give you any comfort or help in your suffering. However, it is this very grumbling, your complaining against the burden of your cross, and your defiance of God’s leading, that has erected a dam which in turn obstructs the flow of comfort and help He intends for you. Recommit yourself to God, wholeheartedly accepting His leading and His working in you. Then the way will be free for the blessing contained in suffering to flow into your life.
