God calls Himself your Father. He is waiting for you, His child, to love Him. The Father is looking for your love, for He delights in the love of His children. But you will be a joy to Him only in so far as you love God above all else. This means surrendering to Him everything your heart clings to, be it people or things, giving Him your all for love of Him. Then you will bring joy to the heart of God and, in loving God and being loved by Him, you will be richly blessed and happy.
