God suffers as a Father, because so often people, including His own, ignore Him. All too frequently, when in need of help, the last one we turn to is the Lord. But whoever has not learnt to count on God and His very real help now in everyday life will not be able to do so in times of trouble either, when all human help fails. That person will see no way out. So it is important to learn to count on God’s help today.
