Kanaan Message for Today

DR-Juli

Are you perhaps at your wits’ end, and do not know how you are going to manage any longer with respect to your health, strength and work? But be assured, it is good when you reach the end of your resources. Then Someone else can step in and help you start afresh. A particularly relevant Bible verse is, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ You will see this promise come true as you apply it to yourself.

God the Lord, who loves you, says in effect, ‘I make all things new, and this holds good for you as well. But first you must bring Me your old life with all its sin. A new house can be built only when the old, dilapidated house has been torn down. Through the blood of Jesus I will blot out your sins and forgive you.’ So come with your sins. Confess them to the Lord in the presence of a spiritual counsellor. Then you will be glad that you were at the end of your resources. It signified a turning-point in your life — the beginning of something new. (Revelation 21:5 RSV; Isaiah 43:18-19)
