Why does the heavenly Father say so much about rewards? Rewarding is a joyful expression of love. Love always has to give and reward, even when there is not much to reward. Our heavenly Father loves deeply and rewards abundantly. This is why Jesus challenges us as children of our heavenly Father to have the same attitude: ‘You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.’ (Matthew 5:48)
