In order to strengthen our faith, God has revealed to us who He is — love. Whenever you suffer greatly or cannot understand God’s leadings, say again and again, ‘God is love. God is love.’ As you testify to this before the visible and invisible world, your confidence in God will become unshakeable; then, even in deep suffering, you will be comforted. (1 John 4:16)
