In every situation think of these words: ‘It is the Lord!’ Then you will no longer become upset about circumstances or the way others treat you. Instead, you will see God at work in everything. Humble yourself beneath the hand of God in the knowledge that His loving heart intends only the best for you and will bring good out of the harm caused by circumstances or people. Believe this. Then you will be spared much distress and turmoil, and you will gain the victory over inner conflict.
