Kanaan Message for Today

 

As a real Father, God chastens and disciplines us. He is motivated by love. Through such measures He spares us much pain not only in eternity but also in this life. Even here on earth we have a foretaste of hell when we live in bitterness, anger, greed and unrestrained desires. God, however, wants us to experience something of heaven and its joy in this life. If we repent and turn from our sins, allowing ourselves to be cleansed, our lives will be changed. Strife will turn to peace, selfishness to love, and we will have a foretaste of heaven.
