Jesus once said, ‘I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go hence.’ Jesus did as the Father commanded. In obedience He went to Gethsemane and Calvary and, in so doing, showed the world that He loved the Father. For us, as His disciples, there is only one way to prove our love for our heavenly Father: resolutely taking up our cross and following the path the Father has ordained for us. This is what Jesus is looking for in the lives of His disciples. (John 14:31)
