You ask, ‘How can I hear the voice of God?’ Above all, believe that God wants to speak to you. Expect Him to. God loves you. That is why He draws close to you and is near even when you do not feel anything. Be sensitive to the leading of His Spirit when you read the Bible or Christian literature. Consider the words prayerfully. Write down what you experience. Make a note when God’s Spirit convicts you, shows you His grace and His promises, or calls you to make an act of dedication. Renounce the things you are bound to and pray in faith. Speak with God about everything, just as a child would speak with his father, or a friend with his friend. God will not only answer — He will do more for you than you could ever ask or imagine!
