God answers prayer. His Word tells us so. But perhaps you ask: Does He really? Yes, He does, though often differently than we expect. God is a Father, and He will not give His child anything that would be harmful in body, soul or spirit. He alone in His infinite wisdom knows what is best for His child and gives him what he truly needs. In the long run you will see that God did answer your prayer: He has given you what you ultimately desired, even though He did not fulfil your specific request. If the Father has to withhold something from you for your own good, you can be sure that in another way His loving heart will give you even more than you asked. Open your eyes and see this truth.
