Jesus Christ says: “This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.'” Matthew 6:9-10
 
Making ourselves independent of God and breaking with Him is sin. It is an affront to the Father’s love. It makes His heart ache. He appeals to us to turn around and not to make our decisions on a human level but in dependence upon Him. Your heavenly Father is waiting for this proof of your love. He is longing for you to live in complete dependence upon Him as His child. He wants you to have a loving relationship with Him. Do not keep Him waiting.
