God’s heart is filled with love towards us. He encourages us to bring Him our requests in a childlike spirit. Being a Father, He rejoices whenever He can make us happy and pour out His goodness upon us. Now He is saying to you, as it were, ‘Behave like a real child towards Me. Do not be shy but daily bring your requests, big and small, to Me your Father.’ — Jesus has promised that the Father will give us good gifts when we ask Him. Try it out! (Matthew 7:11)
