A sign of a needy child is that he always goes to his father with his requests. A sign of a true father is the joy he feels when seeing the confidence his child has in him. This is what marks a true father-child relationship. God longs to have this relationship with us. Assume the status of a child, and you will experience an abundance of fatherly love, fatherly help and fatherly gifts. Be a genuine child towards God. Then the kingdom of heaven with all its treasures will be yours.
