In God’s Word we read, ‘My father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord will take me up.’ When deprived of human assistance and support, we will experience God’s power. A person who puts his trust in crutches cannot be taught how to walk. This is why the Lord challenges us in our hearts, ‘Throw away your crutches so that My power can be effective for you. When you go your way in My strength, then victory and joy will be yours. So stop imposing limitations on My power.’ (Psalm 27:10)
