God listens to every cry that comes to Him from a human heart. However, many people do not listen for God’s answer; they do not really expect any response to their cries. Bogged down with their troubles, they are deaf to everything else. This is why God would appeal to us, ‘Listen for My words. In them you will find the answer to your cry for help. Be still, read My Word, and you will hear My voice.’
