Are you longing for reconciliation with God? Look at the fatherly hands of God. Look at the way they work in the lives of human beings. These fatherly hands place the robe of righteousness and the most precious ring of divine love on those who approach the Father like the prodigal son and who say in deep contrition, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against You.” (Lukes 15:21-22) When your sins and failures make you sad, place yourself in these fatherly hands. They will soothe your pain and show you infinite kindness.
