You are longing to experience God’s love. When will you experience it most? – When you love Him. This, more than anything else, causes Him to open His heart of love.
 
How do you show that you love Him?
By wanting what He wants;
by agreeing to His thoughts and complying with His plans for you;
by placing your confidence in Him, even when you do not understand His actions and He gives you a cross to bear.
 
His Son carried the cross of the world. Follow Him with your own cross, thus putting your love for God into action. In response He will let you taste His love for you.
