Does God’s heart seem to be closed to you? There is a way to open it — thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a sign of humble love. The humble are astonished when someone does them even the smallest favour, for they feel undeserving. They respond with loving thanks and try to repay the giver. Start thanking God for even the slightest consideration given by others; note each act of kindness; for ultimately it all comes from His hands. Such thanksgiving will open God’s heart wide, and streams of blessing will flow down upon you.
