Perhaps God has taken away the person dearest to you — someone who meant everything to you, the joy of your life. You say you cannot live without this person. Hear the Lord saying in your heart, ‘I have taken from you someone who is precious to you, so as to give you Someone infinitely greater and dearer: Myself. I want to be your one and all.’ Believe this and you will see how Jesus will become the joy of your heart and the source of overflowing life.
