God loves us. This is why He trains and disciplines us like a true father bringing up his children. He stops showering us with His gifts when we use them selfishly or disobediently. But Jesus wants us to experience the kingdom of heaven with all its blessings, and so He keeps calling to us, “Repent.”The heart of the Father is wide open to all who are sorry for their sins and turn from them. When we come in repentance, He can and will shower us with His goodness.
