God the Father loves us and wants to speak with us. He wants to reveal Himself to us and to share His deepest feelings with us. However, He is the Holy One. Meeting God means taking one’s shoes off, figuratively speaking. It means withdrawing at certain times from people and from things demanding our attention; leaving the hustle and bustle of everyday life; becoming still inside, waiting for God to speak. Those who do so will have encounters with God which will change their lives and empower them for service in His kingdom.
