God our Father allowed His only-begotten Son to suffer. Like a lamb led to the slaughter, Jesus did not return insult for insult, or utter threats, when He suffered. Now God is looking for the characteristics of the Lamb in His children. Always choose to follow Jesus’ example, and you will have the spiritual authority you desire. God in His love wants to give it to you. It has been promised to those who are lamblike. (1 Peter 2:23)
