The grandeur of God’s creation with its gigantic mountains and vast oceans tells us how great God is. It also shows us how small we are. Yet often we are still presumptuous enough to dare to pit our will against the will of God, the will of the almighty Creator and Lord, and to rebel against Him. We have lost the right perspective as regards our relationship with God. God’s awesome creation has something to teach us. It is calling us to humble ourselves before the Almighty with our whole being, to worship Him and to commit our wills to Him. His will is best, because it is the will of a Father who is nothing but love.
